Malin Pierre (b. 1977) is a Swedish artist based in Stockholm, working primarily with glass sculpture. Drawing inspiration from fashion, textiles and the forest, her practice explores the interplay between softness and hardness. Hand-sewn textiles become the starting point for glass sculptures, preserving the traces of seams, quilting, knitting and folds in a material transformation.
